The Lesson

It sure was funny this morning. Ryan was doing his usual antagonistic things to Mariella to get a rise early this morning over breakfast. She was not having it today! She got off of her chair, went over to her easel and proceeded to write something w/ her magnetic letters...when she was done, she said "Here Ryan, you see this...it says "STOP RYAN", and I mean it, ok...S-T-O-P spells STOP and you know your name right, R-Y-A-N." He started cracking up laughing and so did I, then Mariella smirked. Great way to start the day.

Flushed Away

While telling my dad a list of movies we recently rented, among them was "Flushed Away". And his response was, "Wasn't that the one Mariella starred in?!"

Yes, my Mariella fell in the toilet the other day! All of a sudden, as i was making lunch, i hear "kaplunk" and she looked up not know what the heck to do next and said "uh, I'm stuck!" Too funny, of course I felt bad but Ryan didn't. At lunch, he said to her "Mariella you went in the toilet?" and then continued, "Well I gonna flush it!" He's so sweet, ya know?!! yikes. To make a long story short, Mariella's not forgetting to put that ring on anymore, FOR SURE! :)

I had a very nice lunch with my mom today, just the two of us. It's been so long since we've done that and you know what...we need more of those lunches. Life's too short. Thanks mom.

It's all in the name!

Mariella received a thank you card from her friend Sophia for going to her birthday party and for her gift. Sophia signed her name on the card and Mariella was reading it and all of a sudden looked shocked and said, "MOM! Sophia spelled her name wrong, she forgot the "F"". So I laughed and tried to explain how "PH" sounds like "F"... Mariella looks at me, puts her hand on her hip and says, "Does she speak Spanish or what?" !!!!!!!
