Apparently there is a study out that suggests certain people get bitten by mosquitos more than others due to a masking odor that their bodies give off...well, I have whatever odor they mean...Horrible year for mosquitos this year. I went out to water the flowers and veggies last night and came in a mosquito feasting ground. They got some good blood dinner off of me.

Speaking of veggies, we're growing some corn this year and I spotted some husks last night! Yippee...hopefully it is mouth-wateringly sweet! If those darn squirrels (another favorite of mine) don't get to them first.
Do you feel compelled to collect rubber bands? I noticed this morning while unwrapping the newspaper that I collect all of the rubber bands and hang them on a key ring all the time...FOR WHAT? there are like 50 rubber bands taking up space...why we complete these habitual tasks I haven't a clue.
Off to the kiddie pool...the dog days of summer! :)
