I got Shotgun

Thank you for the emails requesting more funnies! So here is a short list from this week.

The other night I was restless and I went to sleep with Ryan in his new big boy bed (a twin whoohoo) and I told him the next day that I was in his bed for a little while and he said "show me how you were sleeping" and I did. So he said "Well you're gonna have to do it again tonight, I gotta see this!"

I was tending to Ryan's very dry/cracked lips and I said to Joe "I have to find a way to get rid of this" and Mariella says, "Why don't you go on how-to-heal-lips.com" !!!

Ryan was painting and I said "Oh be careful, you're leaning into the paint and it's getting on your shirt" and he responed with, "Mommy I wouldn't be an artist if I didn't get dirty!"

Ryan was starting in with Mariella and she said (in an English accent) "Girls don't start fights" It was a quote from the Aristocats!

Joe had a caulk gun out and Ryan saw it and his eyes bugged out an he said, full of expression, "Daddy, What is THIS? This is the BEST tool you EVER had!" (Ryan loves lots of tools, trust me!)

Mariella is doing so well reading, she breezes through level 1 and 2 books now and we are so proud. The other day the kids were upstairs playing and they ended up on Mariella's bed and she was reading to Ryan. It continued for about 15minutes and I just sat listening with a little bit of tears!

On the flip side, when I am writing emails, she is next to me reading them saying "why are you writing_______" HA HA.

The other day we were in the car and Ryan said "that's it, I'm gonna drive the car and Mariella, you are gonna sit next to me and turn on the music" What's that Ryan, Mariella's Shotgun?!?!
